Amazing Spanish traditions
Corpus Christi is a popular festivity celebrated in villages all over Spain. One of the most amazing ways of celebrating this day is the procession of the men of moss (hombres de musgo in Spanish), where a group of men and women walk the streets covered from head to toes with moss. The moss oufits are really heavy and warm so bearing them during the 4 hours of the parade is quite a challenge.
This particular Spanish custom takes place in Béjar, a village of the region of Salamanca.

Hi Sonia,
This takes place around the last week of May or the first half of June.
The exact date varies each year, but we will keep you informed on the dates for the next year.
Thanks for your interest!
I've got to admit this is one of the weirdest things I've ever seen :)
